The first time I photographed boudoir, something inside me clicked and I knew I had found my calling. For me, there is a special moment in each boudoir session when a woman finds her beauty–when she isn’t ashamed of it anymore. Many times, that happens with the first glance in the mirror out of the makeup chair. For some, it is a quick glance at the back of the camera: an affirmation that she not only feels gorgeous, she IS gorgeous. For every single boudoir session I have ever photographed, there is an incredible transformation that somehow empowers women and gives them permission to feel confident about their appearance. As a photographer, it feels good to experience and tell the story of this hidden confidence. It is why I do what I do.
